I pledge to vote Yes on Prop 30!
2,082 people pledged to vote
The California Dream was built on a system of public schools and colleges that gave every Californian access to the education needed to get ahead.
Without Proposition 30, tuition at California colleges will increase by thousands of dollars and weeks of class will be cut from schools.
Next Tuesday, you get to decide.
With your YES vote on Prop. 30, we can:
- Stop another $6 billion in cuts to our schools this year.
- Prevent steep tuition hikes for college students and their families.
- Invest in our schools and colleges so we can prepare the next generation for the jobs of the future.
Let's work together to invest in our children and a strong economy for California's future.
Let's work together to stop tuition hikes.
Vote YES for education.
Vote YES for opportunity.
Vote YES on Prop. 30.

Update #3
Posted on Nov 2, 2012A yes vote on Proposition 30 means billions more to our public schools and colleges.
A no vote means laid-off teachers, overcrowded classrooms, tuition hikes and a shortened school year.
This weekend, please help me spread the word. Whether you go door to door, join one of our phone banks, or just log on to Facebook or Twitter, you can help your friends, family, and neighbors hear the very good reasons why Californians should vote for Prop 30.
Some people might not vote because they are fed...

Those who oppose unions are too young to remember what it was like before unions. It was HELL.
After the PTAs fell, the Teachers unions are the only defense for quality education, Charter schools are trying to turn back the clock.
& no on 32!

I have been living with cuts to education for 4 years. The loss of another $250,000,000 (the trigger cut to the CSU if Prop. 30 doesn't pass) is beyond comprehension. The current budget, which has been published and would not impose additional cuts to education, assumes passage of Prop. 30. Class sizes are at record highs, staffing at record lows, tuition is going up, and there is no money for basic supplies. The infrastructure of the state is unsustainable without Prop. 30. I will be voting Yes.
