On October 19, 2012 a group of swimmers from the world famous Dolphin Club successfully braved the rough, chilly and shark (un) infested waters of the San Francisco Bay to swim 3.5 miles around Alcatraz Island to raise awareness for sharks. Help support the non profit Shark Stewards in their shark conservation work by sponsoring a swimmer at one of the different shark levels and helping protect sharks from extinction. We are protecting Hammerhead sharks internationally and White Sharks locally, banning the practice of shark fining and fighting the shark fin trade.
All funds raised will go directly to our Great White Shark and Shark Sanctuary campaigns.
