Ending human trafficking is a national priority. Tell Congress to renew landmark human trafficking legislation.

As a citizen of a country that stands for freedom, I am raising my voice to urge that you continue to protect the freedom of the most vulnerable. Important federal legislation to help fight human trafficking, the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (S. 1301 and H.R. 2830), has expired. I believe...

As a citizen of a country that stands for freedom, I am raising my voice to urge that you continue to protect the freedom of the most vulnerable. Important federal legislation to help fight human trafficking, the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (S. 1301 and H.R. 2830), has expired. I believe the TVPA is a critical asset for our country in the fight against human trafficking and modern-day slavery. At the moment, critical anti-trafficking initiatives are at risk--including law enforcement and services for survivors--but I am asking you to make reauthorizing this landmark piece of legislation your priority.

Now more than ever we need you to be a part of the movement to end slavery in our lifetime.

If you have already signed on, please urge your colleagues to do the same.

Sincerely,

[Your name]

Important federal legislation to help fight human trafficking has expired. The Trafficking Victims Protection Act, which includes anti-trafficking initiatives like law enforcement and services for survivors, is one of the most important tools our country has to fight human trafficking and exploitation. With the election happening, the TVPA will have a hard time gaining attention in Congress without your help. Sign the petition below to tell your member of Congress that ending slavery and human trafficking is a national priority.
