We want the French and United States Governments to stop anyone using puppies and kittens as shark and alligator bait. Together we WILL put an end to this!

Hello wonderful caring, loving people! I have amazing news. You know I have been working very hard to get this petition to the right people so that your signatures count. It has not been easy but I think you know me well enough now to know that I do not give up that easily especially when this horrific crime continues.
Well today I made some real progress! I have been trying to connect with Sea Shepherd the wonderful organization that offers the $1,000 reward to anyone who turns in these barbaric shark fishermen and alligator hunters that torture and murder these poor innocent animals. Today we spoke and she is going to help me get this petition to the right people and help move this along!
I am so grateful and thrilled that we are getting there! Let's not lose steam, if you can keep getting this petition out to as many people as you can, there is strength in numbers.
Together we ARE one voice, together we WILL be heard and together we WILL make a difference in the world and the lives of these innocent animals who do not deserve to lose their lives in such a brutal, violent way.

Hi all of you wonderful caring people. Last week my friend Dale went to the Brigitte Bardot Foundation. She told them about the petition and all of your signatures and they gave her a name of a man that worked there to contact. She sent him a very explicit email in French and we are still awaiting his reply.
For all of my French supporters, I am trying desperately to find the name of a person in the French Government that I can direct this petition to, if any of you may know the name or where I could find that I would be very grateful.

As far as Florida I do have that name. And I am closing in on a name for North Carolina, if any of you can help me there that would be terrific!

I will not give up, I am working very hard to make your support count toward ending these horrible crimes and help protect and save the lives of innocent animals.

Amazing! You guys are amazing! As you see, Causes.com has raised its goal maximum for us!! Yes before all of you wonderful people started caring for this and wanting a change their maximum was 999,999 now they have raised ours to 1,100,000!! Yes your voice counts and YES we WILL make a difference. Let's hit this number and exceed it! How can they possibly ignore all of you caring, loving people?? They can't and we will NOT let them. I am still in search of an animal rights group that will help me get this to the right people and stop this horror forever. The plan is to either increase the penalty from only 2 years in prison to 10 years (no parole) and the fine from a little over $5K USD to $100,000 it may act deter these people. Also, there is a reward that Sea Shepards offers $1,000 to policemen who turn these barbaric beasts in to the authorities. If we could increase the reward to say $5,000 or maybe as high as $10,000 (using the fine money collected) and offer it to anyone, it may help deter or even end this horrific crime for good. Reunion has a law that it is illegal to have any animals (alive or dead) on a boat. However, as of February 12, 2012 this terror is still going on. There is too much money to be made on selling shark fins and meat, so a $5,000 USD fine is not strong enough. In addition, it is difficult to regulate and catch these fishermen. If we increase the reward for turning these horrid people in, then maybe we can help deter them that way. This petition will also be sent to Mexico and the United States because yes friends, it is happening there too. This is so sad and it is time for this to END! Even one innocent animal being captured, have a hook gashed into their flesh and dragged by a boat struggling for their lives only to be torn apart by a shark is ONE TOO MANY! Let's work together to end this heartbreaking crime forever. It is TIME!
