Sapper Karl Boon lost his left leg in a Taliban rocket-propelled grenade attack in Afghanistan in 2010 and has been stripped of his benefits by the Department for Work & Pensions and our good old friends at the disgraceful ATOS.
Karl fought for his country, now it is incumbent on the country to fight for Karl.

should he be relying on benefits anyway? Surely the armed forces should be providing an income as he was put out of action doing a job for them.... Or do they just dump people once they've had the best of them?
Signed.
UTTERLY DISGUSTED! This country is shameless:(
Thgis government justifies sending £20 Billion to a Space Age Country called India while it justifies this. It then allows 1000 Welsh old folk to die and a further 2500 in England to die of hypothermia and starvation. What the hell is going on here? Gone on for years too. Rudyard Kipling and Tommie, Duke of Wellington calling British Soldiers scum and backs that up with the Vagrancy act of 1824 to stop limbless soldiers Waterloo Veterans begging to stay alive.
Totally agree, they don't care about this country, all that matters to them is that they dole out money to other countries so that they can benefit themselves when they leave office.
The goverment want to feel shame of themselves? What more does this guy need to do? Its crazy!
Many vetrans's have fought for our country & the goverment treats them like this! its an outrage, my nephew fought in Afghanistan & was one of the lucky one's to come home fit & well, my heart goes out to all families who has lost loved ones & have family members like Karl who are not getting their entitlements, you should all get what your owed & more for your courage & dedication to our country.
My husband served afghan, Iraq and various other war torn countries - they never get what they deserve - its a disgrace how we treat our armed forces in this country
This country (no matter what party is in power) thinks more about immigrants, asylum seekers and undesirables living in our country than it does its own people. Disgraceful - give this lad what he deserves - with respect. Bring our lads home, they are not fighting for GB but for others' greed. Our servicemen are the best in the world and deserve way more than any government in this country affords them! How cheap they consider their lives - their commitment to this once great country! Makes me sick!
Where do these clowns come from - if you are man (or owman) enough to fight for this country - the least we can do is fight for you.
Its unreal Ross, Scumbags are treated better than our Troops, Its been going on for ages and this is just one of the many sad stories Ive read about the treatment of our veterans.
this is a disgrace and a kick in the watsit, to our brave heros, this young man, (and others like him) needs all the help he can get and deserves respect, I am ashamed to be British.
They fight for our country and come home to be stripped of benefits. What a way to repay our heros's this goverment is f..ked up big time.
this government is just getting worse and worse, they only look out for them selves rich ate getting richer poorer getting poorer.
well this is bullshit the gov sent him and now not going to give him his dues , my little bro was a sgt in army for 7 yrs and we are lucky hes here with us today, so dam strait I suport this.
