Who will stop abuse? Working together we all will.
Start now by taking a personal Pledge to become an AbuseStopper and join our mission to stop abuse and alleviate the suffering of those involved.
Abuse is a horror so chilling our first impulse is to turn our heads, hoping that if we ignore the reality, it will go away. But this is a child's game.
Only concerned, dedicated adults can address this growing problem And when we do, we find that we are far from powerless to prevent abuse in all its masquerades.
Abuse can stop. Children can grow up without fear. Domestic partners can live in more harmony, the dread of rape will no longer haunt women and our grandparents will no longer feel vulnerable to financial or physical abuse.
All we need do is to make a commitment to our beliefs.
A pledge that declares, that from this day forward, " Abuse stops with me."

I was abused most my life. First time was rape, good bye virginity at 14. Mayb that's why I chose the wrong men, ex hubby did it all...rape, mental, verbal, emotional and physical.

Stop Abuse Campaign . IMPORTANT CAUSE
It is violation of human rights when you even having a slight intention or inclination to abuse somebody whatever form it may be (ie) either physical or tactical. It is as good as how you have to treat your neighbour, friend and even your enemy the way how you want to be treated. That is why even seeing differently was preached as sin. you do not have rights even to punish your own children as they are the resemblance of the creator and you are only the medium to bring them to this world. they can be corrected by kindness , love and affection.
Sandusky's sexual abuse, Sean wood's verbal abuse, bobby knight's physical violence???? And it's not happening in our schools???

Exellent Pledge! Starts by speaking up! Abusers should be afraid! There should be more emphasis on support groups in communitys, and more and asking people if they are okay? everywhere! While being abused it is very difficult to share that information afraid of the consequinces! The attention you create apon yourself, the redicule and the fear that those closest to you will not believe you! the same and the guilt with it! You go through life beating yoursellf up for everything that goes...
