Does johnpaul's and brendan's conviction serve the interest of justice. No it begs more questions than answers. A 17 year old was arrested, detained and interogated for two weeks before being held in gaol for over 3 yearsbefore facing trial. A trial which prevented a jury from listening to and ruling on a persons guilt or innocence

The murder of PSNI Officer Stephen Carroll was a criminal act, there is no question about that, but so is the illegal arrest and internment of Brendan McConville and John Paul Wooton.
Justice must be served on all accounts.
