We tagged Chiang Mai's red light district with more than 600 stickers like the one seen here. It's a reminder to anyone traveling to Thailand that boys cannot be bought for sex.
In Chiang Mai, boys coming from town outskirts must often make a decision - sell their bodies to make a quick buck, or do nothing and experience shame from their families. Boys forced by poverty into this kind of life typically forego formal educations, which helps make finding a job exceedingly difficult.
Here is where you come in. Very few people believe that teenage boys are trafficked, so your voice is important. Can you take this pledge if you believe that boys, along with women and children, should never be bought or sold?
