Who do you think should be responsible for teaching children about food?

We need to bring back food education and arm people with the tools to make better food choices, because better food education means a better life.
Food education is not compulsory in all schools and as a result many kids are so out of touch with what's on their plate that they don't know their basic fruit and vegetables and don't realise that real food doesn't come from a box.
We want to change the way people eat by educating every child about food, empowering families by arming them with the skills and knowledge to cook again, and inspiring everyone to stand up for their rights to better food; which in turn will fight the epidemic of diet-related diseases.

We believe that everyone has a role to play in food education; that it should be compulsory in schools, that parents should teach their children from a young age at home, that food companies should be more transparent over what's in the food they sell and that the media should be responsible in their marketing of food to kids. We all have the opportunity to help...
