We all have heroes in our life. Many of them are spouses, moms and dads, brothers and sisters, or close friends - they are our soldiers. Stand up and share your story - thank the hero in your life.

My Father, my Brother Jim, My husband Eric and my Daughter Jessica are my hero's. This is a picture of my daughter~the most recent and currently active duty military immediate family member. Thank you ALL for preserving my freedom and protecting our country. ALL American people need to thank whichever God they pray to everyday for men and women like the four of you!

POW table. We remember those who gave but we never forget those who gave ALL. We stand together as a Nation or we fall. If you can't respect that then get the Fuck out of the Country.

MY BROTHER LUIS J. BEVERAGGI IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE MY HERO WITH 4 TOURS (Iraq/Afghanistan) And he is about to be a dad again. My brother is incredibly strong & intelligent, he can seperate home life from Army life, and always keep the rest of us calm and upbeat. He is such an amazing individual in every way, shape, or form imagineanble. Not many men can do what my brother does. NOT TO MENTION THAT HE CONTINUES TO VOLUNTEER FOR TOURS SO THAT HIS OTHER COMRADES ARE ABLE TO GO HOME AND SPEND TIME WITH THERE LOVED ONES. IF THAT IS NOT A SELFLESS ACT, THEN I DOn't KNOW WHAT IS. I would give every and anything, THAT INCLUDES MY LIFE, to keep my little brother safe and to continue him coming home safe everytime. We have already lost one brother. RIP.....Anyway, I'm not that great at story writing, but if ever there was/is a hero its my LITTLE BROTHER LUIS J. BEVERAGGI.....QUE DIOS TE BENDIGA SIEMPRE MI QUERIDO HERMANITO.

My hero is my wife....Marie Christine Pedroza!!!! she has served two tours and is the most courageous woman I know!!!! she has been there through thick and thin for me and our three daughters as the sole provider while I completed my nursing education!!! She is my world and I am so happy she is here with us!!!! all my love, your wife Hope

I had a horrific fall in the Army in 1986 while stationed in Germany. I spent 33 days in Landstuhl Medical Center. I had traumatic brain injuries and had to go through therapy everyday. The one man who made the 2 hour drive from our base to see me was Sgt. Kevin Topp my best friend . He comforted me and treated me like his younger brother. When i was released from the hospital he signed paperwork takeing responsibility for me. This man is my hero, my big brother, and the best friend a person could ever have. We keep in contact quite often . I am a 100% disabled Veteran now and have alot of brain problems but this man keeps me focused even while i live in Maine and he in Iowa. I am saving the money to get out there to visit him this year after not seeing each other since 1986. I will close by saYING tHANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART KEV, YOU ARE MY HERO, MY BEST FRIEND AND THE OLDER BROTHER I NEVER HAD! LOVE YOU AND HOPE TO SEE YOU THIS YEAR BUBBA

John Mills, my son in law is my hero. This is his 7th tour of duty, first Iraq, now Afghanistan. His wonderful son, Elijah, is the man of the house while his dad is deployed & helping my daughter, Michelle, staying strong while her funny, smart & loving husband is away, keeping us all free. I couldn't ask for a better son in law, husband for my daugher & dad, for my grandson...
