Children at the Chapman Partnership for the Homeless were allowed to take a book with them after our story hour, for something to read for the week. Recently, the books in the Partnership’s collection have become scarce, taking this privilege away from the children that love our program so much. The Little Lighthouse will be hosting a fundraiser to purchase children's books to place back on the Chapman shelves. On top of supplying books to the children, we will also be purchasing new book shelves for the center.
Money donated here will be put towards purchasing children's books with a positive message, and for the massive bookshelves we will need to store all the books!

We have received over 500 books to date and received an additional $1,500.00 (appx) in donations. Please consider donating to the book drive. All funds raised here go direct to purchasing books for the library that we are creating.
On our way to 1000 books to be donated for the library. Tomorrow should be a great day moving forward with the drive.
