Summer is the most dangerous time of the year for youth on the roads. National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS) hosts Global Youth Traffic Safety Month each May to celebrate and support youth traffic safety efforts on the local, state, national, and international levels. The tagline for 2012 Global Youth Traffic Safety Month is "Acting Out Loud for the Safest Summer Ever" because NOYS encourages youth to advocate for safe teen driving and make safe decisions on the road this summer.
