Climate change is very likely having an impact now on our planet and its life. The increase in greenhouse gases caused by human activity is often cited as one of the major causes of global warming. What activity do you think has the greatest impact on climate change?

It is man's greed for more of everything that causes the greatest harm to this planet.
It may sound picky;however, women are part of the greed factor also. Somehow I have to imaging myself as being a part of 'Mankind' but when I head Humankind is causing the greatest harm to the planet....I do feel that I do have a 'horse in the race'. Guess I'm a bit funny that way about words and their meaning...
you true
We humans manage to destroy everything. I just hope we are not too late to make the changes we need to save this planet and the incredible species that are so close to extinction. I'm trying to make as many changes as possible, but I believe too many people think things will be here forever no matter what they do. I really believe we need to educate the children in schools as early as possible and have it be mandatory. Maybe the next generations will do better than we have. One can hope!
I cannot agree more - you are so right... At least it's a comfort, knowing that we are some, who share the same hope for the future of our wonderfull planet!!!
Everybody should know about the effects of their daily activities like disposal of wastages, using vehicle, usage of electricity, usage of paper / polythene and so on... We cannot stop everything but we have to use with awarness of global warming.
You are so right. It is essential that the Human Race become really aware of our daily actions. After becoming aware of the way forests are destroyed...I bought and use a bidet. I could not continue using tp that was the result of deforestation and all of the ill effects of run off and depleted soil. The trees had the nutrients from that land. If the forest had burned the nutrients would have been repleinshed; however the soil is now dead. I do not eat anything that comes from a Corporate Farming of Animal torture facility. Feeding those animals GMO grain is the first step in a process of destroying the friendly bacteria in our systems and then causing health problems and diseases. Hope you have a long healthy life.
you didn't give the option about eating meat - that surely is number one factor causing deforestation, high consumption of water etc.
You are so right. I saw a small lake in the TX panhandle be poisoned and eventually drained due to the run off from feed lots. The food supply is so degraded now that I do not eat out, nor do I buy much of anything in grocery stores. I live in KC MO area and am finding sources of local grass feed, free range, organic grower products. It is truly a' buyer be aware' world. When I became aware of the way Forests are ripped down and GMO soy was planted there...I bought and now use a bidet...no more tp! It is criminal to think of a forest being gone and all the diversity and the animals that lived there being gone...just to make 'butt wipe' for us two leggers.
So we have to leap up forestation activities and use alternative fuels to fossil fuels at large.
Overall, I believe that the root cause is lack of education and understandng the cause and effect chain of events. That includes from utilities to the state of mind of man. and its egoistic needs.
Does the mind of "man' include women...or do we get off the hook....just a shadow portion of the populace?
