What book by Charles Dickens is your favorite?

Great Expectations is 2nd after these of all... Christmas Carol!

Read it about 60 years but forgot.

My favorite Dickens are all the books he wrote that I haven't read.

DAVID COPPERFIELD IS MY FAVOURITE , NEVERTHELESSFIND IT DIFFUCULT TO MAKE A CHOICE AS THEY ARE ALL VERY ENTERTAINING , HUMAN , AND CIVING A GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF LIFE AND THE STRUGGLE FOR SURVIVAL AND THE IMPORTANCE OF HAPPINESS.

Dickens wrote many more masterpieces than these, but it was hard to choose even among the five listed. Forced to land on one, however, I finally had to go with A Christmas Carol. It is one of the most perfect books ever written. And although many English speakers may think the novel is universally familiar, I have met several people from other countries who have never heard of it!

Anything Dickens wrote is worth reading because his writing in fact led to actual reforms in schools, industrial working conditions and the abolishing of debtor's prisons.

I truly Beleive that if Great Expectations was an essencial tool used in all schools we would hopefully not have the indeted society that we have today. Ask Mr MacCorber.

There's no one who creates such meticulous and memorable characters as Dickens. I love A Christmas Carol; I have most of the movie versions as well. But almost anything Dickens wrote is marvelous reading.

I love Charles Dickens & love all his books so I really don't have a favorite. Maybe "A Christmas Carol".
