Annual Grassroots Legislative Conference March 23-25th, 2012

Since 1947, The United States Student Association has brought students together under one collective voice to ensure our lawmakers make higher education a priority. USSA believes every individual has a right to education and together we are helping students understand the power of their voice to make our belief a reality. Throughout the conference, students participate and facilitate legislative briefings, lobby clinics, direct action trainings and a variety of workshops that help build strong, inclusive campaigns that win concrete victories for students on the campus, local, state, and national level. Our work during the conference gears us up for the National Student Lobby Day and National Day of Action which will take place March 26th. Your support can help us:

* Provide scholarships so that more students can attend our conference
* Sure-up general logistic needs for the conference (i.e. workshop rooms, technical support, food, flip charts, markers, name tags, programs etc.)
* Enable us to outreach and convene presenters to provide cutting edge workshops and presentations
* Provide tools and materials for conference attendees to bring back to their campuses
