Why is this campaign important to you?
because I don't think the actions a a select few, who also happen to be mentally ill or just stupidly irresponsible should cost the millions of us who are responsible to lose our right as American citizens! Plus, I would like to be able to protect my family if some stupid irresponsible person decides he/she is going to attempt to harm them! No some of you will argue that there is no reason for a 30 round mag, but what happens when we start letting the government put limits on what we have...

How about starting at the root cause of the problem...and it isn't the guns....it's the way we desensitize our children by putting smut programs on tv and having computer and other electronic games available that are more violent than what they should or need to be. Or how about making people responsible for themselves. My tax dollars should NOT go to supplying convicted criminals with cable tv, weight lifting equipment, and other fun stuff to do while in jail! Give them three meals a day, a bed, and the bible. I shouldn't be paying for Jane Smith's groceries because she's on welfare when she has 5 children and makes more than I do on welfare! There are more people at the Social Security office on "pay day" than there are working on that day. Our society has gone to hell in a hand basket and I will not give up my right to own any gun I want because some idiot decides to make a stupid decision. And another thing, if we stop glorifying (publishing the name of) the ones doing the crimes and focus solely on the vicitims...maybe they will be less inclined to commit the murder because they will remain a nobody instead of the somebody who committed a horrible crime!

Police protection is an oxymoron.
Free citizens must protect themselves.
Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

I see what has happened in other countries that have criminalized the right to bear arms in my time; read Atlas Shrugged, read history, read of the true motivation of those that wish to repeal constitutional rights. And while your at it, READ THE PATRIOT ACT. Then ask yourself: Who is the enemy of the U.S. and promulgating the continual infighting of the two major political parties so that true leadership is impossible unless that leadership is in bed with the force against America. No, it's NOT paranoia, is AWARENESS of what's really going on.
to be clear the right to have a gun and the right to have a 30 round mag are two very different things the second amendment dose not say you can have any gun you want be smart america no one needs a weapon that destructive other than military forces.
Learn how to type a proper sentence then I'll listen to your views on guns! Besides the fact this country was founded on God and guns. You'll be asking for help when they put us under marshall law and have rations being handed out by stamps .... !
