Why is this campaign important to you?
In one of our local towns, Bridgwater, very close to the already existing nuclear power station, I have heard that there is a common phrase amongst the 'health' service professionals when diagnosing, especially for children and babies - 'normal for Bridgwater'....... does that actually in fact possibly mean not very normal for elsewhere? mmmmmm? In France, which is absolutely sprinkled with nuclear power stations, the male sperm count is something like 25% less than it was twenty or thirty...

In France, which is absolutely sprinkled with nuclear power stations, the male sperm count is something like 25% less than it was twenty or thirty years ago.... I love to think positively, but I also hate to feel I am avoiding something so painfully obvious happening right in front of all our noses.......its actually so very very obvious, glaringly obvious, stupefyingly clear.......the Japanese and the Germans are leading the way......no more nuclear power. the writing is on the wall......Fukoshima is still ongoing, still not sorted, nor is Chernobyl...... and the bribery of local poor British people, offering them jobs and 'prospects' is a grotesque and utterly disgusting con trick........I choose to visualise an Alternative Energy Power Station at Hinkley Point, Wind, Wave, and Sun (come on Sun!) radiating clean energy all around, happy smiling healthy people working there, happy green landscape all around, modern technology! yay! we'll never give up loving life and all that is good and beautiful! xxxx
Totally Sally, beautifully put xxx
How very true, Sal.....I find it utterly irresponsible to even think about using more nuclear power stations, especially since noone even knows for sure what to do with all the deadly debris...

hallo NRW lust neim GAD 2013 mit zu machen ?
Because as has been show time and time again in various places around the world (the latest being Japan) nuclear power is unsafe. Additionally, not only is the cost in terms of pollution to our environment unpredictable and too high, it still remains to be seen how our descendants will deal with the potential time bomb that awaits them deep underground.
Finally, when there are obvious clean alternatives it begs the question why are governments are so focussed on building more nuclear power stations.

Nuclear power has been proved to be lethal as it stands, with yet more dangerous if more nuclear power stations are built, producing more spent fuel rods to be disposed of and more risk of disasters such as Fukushima and Chernobyl. It is not economical either. Why go on with it?

Its totally uneccessary to have. I would rather go by log fire and candle light. If push comes to shove. This way the biggest accident will be the candle spilling over on my hand and wouldn't involve thousands to suffer radiation issues.
