Stop the Irish Government assault on Disability Equality
We should sign because because the assault on disabled, elderly and sick people's equality and standards of living is an assault on humanity itself. We should sign because we should not support a government that targets those unable to support these measures over those who can support these

Stop the vacant bedroom charges
Dear Mr David Cameron, cc House of Lords We the undersigned wish you to repeal the 'under occupancy tax' This tax is damaging and unfair to families who share the care of their children in separate homes, families who have need of an overnight carer to lessen the day to day stress of caring,
Why is this campaign important to you?
Dear Mr Cameron please leave the genuine people with disabilities alone and check the cheats as people rely on there dla.
Also Agree 110%
thank you ladies .
I work with People who are disabled. The money they get does not just cover thier living costs it also covers thier care. Some of the people I care for already recieve a pitiful amount of help and benifits... please don't take that away. Not all disablitlies are visable.
think its out of order the goverment are robbing from the disabled and the room tax hitting the low income familes and the disabled too and the rich are not being effected whats this world coming too the next election David cameron will be voted out he the most hated world wide :-( :-( :-(
Please the real disabled need this
How I agree with you and in my opinion every case should be dealt singly in a much fairer way. This 'sift out' those who claim and should not and those who genuinely deserve the help should not have their benefits cut. OK, times are really hard for everyone now, but this Government are trying to clear the deficit left by the 'other lot in power' to make this Country great again. At least they are trying to do something about the number of 'overseas people' who flock to this Country [when the others are in power encourage them to come] because THEY depend on those sort of people to keep them IN power! Sensible improvements by ANY Government are always welcome and we would NOT be in this sort of monitory problems today, if the 'other lot' [Blairs] hadn't 'lined their pockets' so much.......how many homes do they have littered around the Country and the world? Thank you.
To Lynn Hyde......Sorry but this government is not making this country great again it is flushing it down.... the grate... Talk about Labour lining pockets where have you been living these last few years MARS!!! what about all the Tory thieving politicians ... that have been lining theirs recently the EXPENSES Scandal & paying 10 million of TAX PAYERS MONEY! to bury one of their own
It is the OTHER LOT Tories that are trying to privatise the NHS by the back door. The ONLY reason Cameron is now addressing the Immigration situation is because he is running scared of UKIP's rising popularity .... as for you agreeing with the petition RUBBISH ... you offend me and other disabled people....... it is the likes of you that keep the new Hitler in power to enable him to do this to our ONCE GREAT COUNTRY pre Cameron & the Tories ... it is the Tories not Labour that is doing this to the Genuine Disabled.. HONESTLY WHAT PLANET ARE YOU ON...
taking that too distgusting.
I want to be an active part of a society which takes care of everyone's needs.
Ditto
CAMERON IF YOU HAVE A HEART THINK FOR A MOMENT ABOUT REAL LIFE AND NORMAL PEOPLE THAT REALLY NEED DISABILITY
I am 23 and was only diagnosed with aspergers and ADHD in September last year. We have battled for 16 years with both the education and medical profession to get someone to listen and help me with my difficulties. All of our problems fell on deaf ears when we needed them to listen. We are currently getting no help and support from anyone else like social services and are just alone. I feel that to claim this is my right based on the fact both my problems are classed as a disability. I am...

All of our problems fell on deaf ears when we needed them to listen. We are currently getting no help and support from anyone else like social services and are just alone. I feel that to claim this is my right based on the fact both my problems are classed as a disability. I am unable to work due to the fact I'm so behind in social and communication skills I am having to now have intensive therapy to help me catch up. These are not the failings of my parents but that of the medical and eduation systems. GPs have very little awareness of aspergers and forms of Autism leaving me and my family in limbo for this length of time. Why should me and my family be punished anymore for their failings? Haven't we been punished enough?
well said zoe, i think its punishment enough having to be dissabled with out this goverment punishing us any more, can i share this please
Aww feel so sorry for u Zoe I have autism will u add me as a friend plz Zoe

Disabled people have enough stress in their lives without becoming "whipping boys" for the failures of the Banking sector and Inland Revenue. They are easy targets. The Government exagerates the numbers of scammers to suit their need for scapegoats, there are barely 2% who scam. That is 2 out of every 100 and the whole 100 have to suffer. Yet the MP's scammed their expenses and only one or two were punished in any way. David Cameron is another Tony Blair, looking out for himself so he will...
