Because I feel the time has come and gone for the cure. With trained medical personel working on such diseases as this after fifty years of study there should be a cure by now don't you think so? Somebody need to put their foot down, there's no reason people should still be suffering with disease or cancer after all these years.....who do they think they're fooling? There's BIG MONEY to be made as long as they keep us alive taking all these meds and experiencing the many side effect, which...

I feel the same way as what you have expressed we need a revolution to insist that sufferers need more research to come up with a cure instead of so much money plugged into medication which cause side effects.

My now 6 year old son was diagnosed at 5 with type 1 diabetes. He has been so strong and brave through this whole thing, he now has the pump and is so happy to not have shots every time he wants eat I hate that my baby has to go through this, it really puts things into perspective and makes you realize the smallest things sometimes the most important when u bring your child to a birthday party and he thinks he cant enjoy the cake and snacks and when u tell him u sure can have some the joy in...

my 14 year old son was diagnosed as T1 4 years ago and as me and his mother seperated shortly b4 that i cant monitor it as much as i wud like. We are starting to get him back to his normal self with the carb-counting but every morning his sugar levels are between 16 and 25 no matter how good r bad he was the day b4, any1 any ideas on how to keep them down :) :) :)
