My grandson Mason was diagnosed with retinablastoma when he was 6 months old, he is 19 months old now and goes to Atlanta once a month for treatment, he also carrries the RB1 gene. It is my understanding that only 2% of the money raised by the American Cancer Society goes to pediatric cancer research.
