there are 2 people I know who are autistic. The dad of one tells me all the time his son has never enacted with anyone untill me. He hugs me, laughs with me , plays basketball with me. It is such a hoot being with this young man.

Hey Karen, just posted my granddaughter Sadies pic, she is autistic. She loves animals, especially horses and music, she is such a joy.

Autism education is vital for adults and children in schools . If my child is called retard again my butt is coming out swinging! Stop parents from bulling young kids ! Autism is a disorder not a definition of the word retarded. Artistic yes lol! Right!

I have worked in schools for many years and have seen many people who are classified as "autistic" have their experiences pathologized and then highly toxic drugs were prescribed to them. I feel very uncomfortable with this approach.

Many people who find themselves classified as autistic have problems dealing with emotional and social experiences. Rather than pathologizing these experiences, people can, for free, learn these skills in a fun, productive manner at a blog titled, Name...
